We worked together on the first Aurora GreenFest in 2011, where I saw how dedicated Mavis is to improving our quality of life in the Fox Valley. She has volunteered thousands of hours to our city, always taking on roles with more and more responsibility. These have always been volunteer duties, with no reward except to see our community thrive.

I will be endorsing Mavis Bates for Kane County Board district #4. There are a few reasons for my endorsement but the one that I feel most passionate about is her support for funding a sound barrier on Orchard road to replace the fencing that is currently there.
